Have you ever wondered how silk was made in ancient times? Well China knows
the secret. Hi I’m Joseph and I’m going to tell what I know about China. China is a
country in east Asia. It’s capital is known as Beijing. The Great Wall of China was
first made out of hardened soil, stones and pebbles to keep barbarians (people
from other countries) from coming in and getting out.
Some amazing places in
China are: The Great Wall of China. The Great Wall of China which is 26 feet in
height and was opened in 206 BC ( which means Before Christ) the Great Wall of China is open every day from 7:30AM-5:30PM;
The Forbidden city. The Forbidden city was the Chinese imperial palace from the Ming Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty (from the 1420 to 1912.) It was opened in 1420 and inside is the Palace Museum.
The Terracotta Army. The Terracotta Army is a collection of terracotta sculptures representing the armies of Qin Shi Huang who was the first emperor of China. It is open from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM every day.
In conclusion I would say China is a great holiday destination. I have gone over some great places for a holiday which are the Great Wall of China the Forbidden City and Terracotta Army. Thank you.
